Sponsored Athlete program
In 2019, CATAPULT is beginning its Sponsored Athlete Program! We will be approving and accepting up to five eligible athletes into the program’s inaugural year.
The purpose of the Sponsored Athlete Program is to showcase physically and visually impaired athletes at the advanced and elite levels of competition, in return for promotion and exposure of the CATAPULT brand and mission! See below for information on the perks, as well as the expectations, of being a CATAPULT Sponsored Athlete!
While eligible athletes are welcome, and encouraged, to apply for both a CATAPULT grant and CATAPULT sponsorship, athletes will not be approved for both. Please consider this when applying for either program. Sponsorship funds are to be used only to offset the expenses listed in the “Perks” section below, unless advance, written approval is provided by CATAPULT. Receipts of use of funds are to be provided at time of use and/or upon request. Acceptance into the Sponsored Athlete Program is valid from the announcement of the sponsored athletes to the opening of the following grant/sponsorship season. All current sponsored athletes will need to reapply to the Program each grant season. Failure to comply with the agreed upon expectations may result in removal from the Sponsored Athlete Program and denial of funding described below.
Sponsored Athletes are expected to comply with the following:
Visible Team CATAPULT logo on front of competition apparel.
Visible logo, as described above, in a minimum of 6 approved races in a calendar year.
Cross promotion of Team CATAPULT via social media.
Participation in a minimum of 4 community outreach efforts in a calendar year.
As a Team CATAPULT Sponsored Athlete, benefits include:
Competition stipend to cover competition-related expenses.
Choice of sport-specific, CATAPULT branded competition apparel.

Features in CATAPULT printed and social media.
