Team Catapult is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that aims to catapult physically challenged individuals over adversity and into the world of endurance sports.

Founded in 2015 by like-minded Houston-area triathletes and runners, Team Catapult strives to be the leading Gulf Coast organization assisting individuals with physical disabilities through funding, training, education, and access to the endurance sports community.

Catapult strives to help all individuals, from those who’ve experienced a life-changing event, to those looking to improve their quality of life through sports, to Team USA Paralympic athletes and hopefuls.

  • Athlete Grants & Sponsorships

    Annual grants aiding visually and mobility impaired athletes in costs related to the world of adaptive sports. Grant funds may be used for competition registration, transportation and lodging costs, adaptive sports equipment, coaching and training fees, and more!

  • Workouts & Guiding

    Team Catapult hosts running workouts Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings from the Memorial Park Tennis Center. Training is provided at workouts for new and beginner guides. No previous experience needed.

  • Welcome to Running

    An overnight running and mobility training camp for adaptive athletes with a desire to begin running as a hobby or expand their current skills.

    Welcome to Running is zero-cost for athletes, guides and volunteers.

  • Houston Marathon Weekend

    Team Catapult is the largest organization within the Athletes With Disabilities program of the Houston Marathon. Athletes and guides take the half and full marathon course each January, across every category, from across the U.S.
